David King
Chief Marketing Officer & Senior Vice President Video Solutions

David King joined Concurrent in 2008 as chief marketing and strategy officer, and is responsible for all aspects of the company’s corporate strategy, global market development, professional services and strategic alliances.  In early 2010 Mr. King became the Senior Vice President of Video Solutions, heading the video business.

Prior to joining Concurrent, Mr. King served as vice president of global marketing for NEC, a leading provider of network integrated solutions, where he oversaw all global marketing and public relations activities, including analyst relations and channel marketing, for the overseas business units of their enterprise solutions division.  Mr. King was also responsible for global product and application portfolio strategy, and was instrumental in developing strategic partnerships with Cisco and Microsoft. 

Prior to joining NEC, Mr. King served as vice president of marketing for Movaz Networks, a Wavelength Division Multiplexing (WDM) equipment provider acquired by ADVA Optical Networking in 2006, where he successfully led marketing efforts for cable and broadband providers.  Prior to that, Mr. King served as vice president of global solutions for Nortel Networks.

Mr. King holds a bachelor's of computer science from Acadia University and a master's of business administration from Ottawa University.
